About The Couple

Our love story began back in 2015, when we were just high schoolers. Coming from two different states (Maryland and North Carolina), it was a total God thing that we met how we did. As some of the greatest love stories begin, we immediately became best friends and could not stop talking each other’s ears off. Ever since then and through every part of our journey together, knowing we wanted to be together forever made our relationship simply sweet. From all of the fun coffee shops, to the new places and experiences we’ve shared in the last 6 years, we couldn’t wait to become one!

We got engaged on June 27th, 2021 at Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina (with much planning and help from friends and family, and yes, an itinerary made by James) which ended up being one of the best days filled with love and family. We plan to start our forever together here in Greensboro, NC with our two sweet little cats and will be having a wedding celebration with friends and family on January 30th, 2022. We can’t wait to celebrate with you and become official high school sweethearts!

Meagan and Haley met at church when they were teenagers through serving together. From all the weekends spent together, to Haley being in Meagan’s wedding, to being long distance friends, they've been friends through it all!

Emilee and Haley became friends during 2020 and are going to be neighbors soon! Emilee is a lover of all things plants, is a total foodie, and loves coffee dates!

Madison and Haley have been friends for quite a few years now and are often asked if they are sisters! Madison is a lover of pups, Chick-fil-A, and all things cozy!

Hans Ostmann

Best Man

Hans is James' younger brother. He is currently studying at UNCC to get his masters in Accounting. Some of his hobbies include day trading and playing rocket league. Hans and James relationship has grown stronger as they have grown up

Lars Ostmann

Lars is James' youngest brother and the most adventurous. He recently just made his 200th skydive! Lars and James talk almost everyday as we both work for the same company.

Chris Gross

Chris is James' Step brother. Chris and James have bonded throughout the years by sharing eachohters hobbies with eachother, such as Juggling, Longboarding and Programming

Jordan Milligan

Jordan is Haley’s brother and James’ soon-to-be brother in law! Jordan can usually be found playing guitar, listening to Toto, finding the best memes, or cooking perfect steaks.
